The global energy company 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 has made history by appointing 𝗘𝗹𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶 as its Executive Vice President and Country Chair for Nigeria. With this appointment, Aiboni becomes the first Nigerian and the first woman to hold the combined leadership position in Shell's more than 60 years of operations in Nigeria.




𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝗹𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶?
𝗘𝗹𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶 is a highly respected Nigerian engineer and business executive with more than 24 years of experience at Shell. Throughout her career, she has held technical and leadership positions across Nigeria, Kazakhstan, and Brunei, building a reputation for operational excellence and strategic leadership.

Before her latest appointment, she served as Asset Director at Brunei Shell Petroleum. Earlier, in 2021, she became the first female Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), another historic achievement within the Shell Group.
